Australia’s undisputed Kings of Super-Heavy Funk & Soul return to launch their third full-length studio album ‘Side-Stepper’ out now on U.K’s ubiquitous Tru Thoughts label and featuring guests including TY (U.K), Paul Macinnes (SWED) and Megan Washington (AUS). The Bamboos have taken their incendiary live shows throughout Europe and the U.K, earning them a place in the worldwide Modern Funk elite alongside The Quantic Soul Orchestra Breakestra, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, and The New Mastersounds. The Side-Stepper live show will feature the 100% dynamite vocals of Kylie Auldist whose 2008 Tru Thoughts-released album ‘Just Say’ has been championed by the likes of Mark Lamarr (BBC Radio 2 U.K), Bobbito Garcia (U.S) and Andy Smith (U.K).
