Amraks

Originally from the Nations capital, now Melbourne based. Amraks explores the euphoric and melodic left field nature of dance floor driving breaks and house music. The inspiration that drives Amraks transpires from a multifaceted range of mediums. The visual side of music in the form of visualisers and artistic concepts as well as a range of ambient and low tempo genres feed into the higher energy style of music he creates.

Since 2018 Amraks has been a prominent figure in the Canberra and surrounding music scenes, playing alongside artists such as Route 8, Kettama, Skin On Skin, Willaris K, HAAi, Human Movement and X Club, to name a few.
In his sets, Amraks combines a mixture of synth packed euphoria, garage and original material. Since moving to Melbourne in 2021, the artist has released multiple singles such as Takara, Surface and WantMe2, as well as developing his latest EP and music catalogue which has gained support from artists such as Jacques Greene, on Rinse FM radio.

Amraks has created mixes for the likes of FBi Radio, Area 3000, Sound Gallery, Nomad Radio, N10.as, Project Radio UK and Canberra House Social. In 2022 his EP Desolate was released through the Sydney record label ‘Eclectic’. The 7 track project showcases a sonic spectrum that includes mixed genres of colourful breaks and euphoric house. With music writer Luke Liberati illustrating ‘Desolate’ as, “An emotional masterclass in spatial harmony.”   Expect new musical endeavours, collaborations and live shows for Amraks in 2023
