Harper Bloom

LGBTQIA+ Melbourne-based singer-songwriter, Harper Bloom writes tales of vulnerability, same-sex love, and self-acceptance. Her single “Walk My Way” released in 2020, was added to high rotation on Triple J, becoming the top 10 most played track on the station and hitting the top 70 of the Australian Shazam Charts. The single was voted “Editors Song of The Year” by TheMusic.com, for 2020. Bloom went on to sign a management deal with Teamtrick (Allday, Mallrat) and a publishing deal with Kobalt.

Harper Bloom was also selected as a Triple J Unearthed Feature Artist, a BIGSOUND50 artist and a mentee for the 2021 APRA AMCOS Women in Music Mentorship Program. She performed at events in Perth, Brisbane, and Melbourne over 2020 and 2021, including sold-out shows at her EP launch at The Workers Club and a support slot for a string of Hope D’s shows. Her 6-track Debut EP “Faith, Sex and Skin”, released in June last year, was scheduled to be taken on the road with her full band, however the slew of east coast shows were cancelled due to Covid-19 interruptions. Bloom released her first single following the EP “Sydney Road” in November last year. The single was premiered by Triple J Unearthed and named Rolling Stones “Song of The Week”. Bloom has wasted no time in 2022, performing to packed crowds at The Northcote Social Club, SoundWaves and Gaytimes Festival. “Red Rocket” is scheduled for release on March 24th, and is a taste of her forthcoming sophomore EP.
