Garnering over half a million streams (on all platforms) in 2 days for his recent debut Like A Version performance, Sydney producer on the rise Taka Perry really is in a league of his own. Taking on the daunting task of Kanye West’s Jesus Walks, the producer/multi-instrumentalist enlisted the help of rising stars A.Girl, Emalia and Gia Vorne. All outstanding artists and vocalists in their own right and a further example of Taka Perryhaving his finger right on the pulse of the Australian Music Scene.

At the age of 21, the half Japanese, half Australian’s production career has taken him across multiple territories, with past collaborations including Thomston, Ruel, KLP, Okenyo, Mallrat, Woodes, SACHI, J Hart (Usher, Justin Bieber) and Max Frost to name a few.

After debuting his hypnotic live show in February of this year, Taka released his most well received song to date, the gorgeous Only U ft. Gia Vorne, as well as flex his production chops on his official remix for Ruel’s Painkiller ft. Denzel Curry and Sycco’s ‘Nicotine’; a track that sat at the top of the indigenous airplay charts for over 5 weeks and one he co-wrote, produced, mixed and mastered.
