YURA

Korean-Australian singer-songwriter YURA has been honing her sound and passion for music since she was 16. Starting out by experimenting with GarageBand, she slowly grew her repertoire with a number of independent releases. Over time, she has skillfully crafted a unique sound that is both captivating and endlessly evolving.

Wielding a voice and experience uniquely her own, YURA tells enchanting stories that are both heartfelt and relatable, drawing listeners in with her raw emotion and undeniable charm. Her music seamlessly blends contemporary R&B, indie pop, and lo-fi, creating genre-bending tracks that unveil new facets of her artistry with every release.

Signed under management group Foreign Echo—alongside artists like Skin on Skin, Ecca Vandal, and Tobiahs—YURA continues to make waves in the industry. Her track “Pearl” has amassed over 2 million streams on Spotify, further solidifying her presence in the music scene. She has also performed at notable events, including supporting Korean rapper Coogie at his Sydney show in 2019 and joining Grent Perez as a supporting act on his AUS/NZ tour in September 2022. Additionally, she has headlined two shows, one in Melbourne in 2023 and another in Sydney in 2024, marking significant milestones in her career.

Her debut EP titled ‘Eternal Tiare’ released at the end of 2023, draws inspiration from the legendary anime series Sailor Moon and  serves as a testament to her personal and artistic evolution. Overseen by Executive Producer Andy Hopkins (Eves Karydas, Cat & Calmell) and crafted in collaboration with talents such as jah Loon (Tkay Maidza) and stevenc4stle (BIBI), ‘Eternal Tiare’ weaves together sonic landscapes to artfully reflect YURA’s personal journey both as a musician and a young individual navigating life’s complexities.

As YURA embarks on this new chapter of her musical career, the resonance of ‘Eternal Tiare’ marks the beginning of something as enduring and remarkable as the cosmic force it’s named after.
