Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires
Support Acts Announced

Adding more soul sweetness to what’s already penned to be a sensational night, Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires are pleased to announce local support acts for each of their Australian shows.

Starting in Sydney, The Sunshine Brothers will warm the stage on opening night with their smooth soul stylings, dancefloor shaking ska moments and infectious summer anthems, including playing material off their acclaimed third record Red Alert.

Eight-piece party band The Seven Ups will set the scene for the second Sydney show show and Melbourne gig with a fusion of 1970s Nigerian Afrobeat and the deepest of street funk, while Brisbane-based Jordan Rakei will open in his hometown. Known for his diverse arrangements, the young musician delivers on an exciting mix of nue-soul, reggae, experimental, hip-hop and dance.

Returning Down Under to celebrate the release of his second album ‘Victim of Love’, Daptone/Dunham alumni Charles Bradley and his all-star band (comprising of members of The Dap Kings, The Menahan St Band, Budos Band and others) will once again blow away Australian Audiences with their distinctive super-charged soul.
