Machinedrum Announces Exclusive Sydney Show

Niche and The Operatives are proud to present North Carolina-born artist Machinedrum performing at Goodgod Small Club for the next Hold Tight instalment in Sydney. Stewart has produced and composed over a dozen albums under various aliases since his first independent release in 1999 covering an astonishing variety of styles through his solo work and collaborative projects (with acts like Sepalcure, JETS and Dream Continuum),

Travis delivers his signature on everything he touches; from his 2013 ‘Vapor City’ LP for Ninja Tune, to his production work for the likes of Azealia Banks, Jamie Liddell and Jesse Boykins II – which has made him widely recognised as a producer’s producer, a pioneer of many styles, and a master of his craft.

Joining him will be Melbourne’s Planete, (producer and musician Dion Tartaglione). Following on from his expansive, well-regarded previous releases, Tartaglione has a bold new soundscape to share with his growing legion of followers. With his engaging live set-up and intelligent electronic constructions, Planète is a name you’re bound to hear plenty of over the coming months.

Opening the night is DJ Preacha (aka Chris Muliartha), a stalwart in Sydney’s electronic underground. His ability to mix seamlessly between disparate electronic genres has sparked his steady rise through the ranks. Known for keeping a low-profile, Preacha always lets his music do the talking.
