Niche & Fuzzy Present: PIRI (UK)

Hailed as one of the “50 Best Dance Songs of 2022” by Rolling Stone, the ‘On & On’ Singer/Songwriter, Piri, is heading down-under for her debut headline show in Sydney this September 27th. Praised as a leader of the 2020’s Drum & Bass revival, the UK artist, and fellow member of esteemed duo ‘Piri & Tommy’ will be performing at Oxford Art Factory ahead of her Listen Out appearances this year.

After a string of online success and festival appearances around Europe, including Glastonbury, Park Life & Reading & Leeds, Piri’s acclaim began rising. Charting in the UK, winning multiple ‘Breakthrough Artist’ awards, and gaining attention from industry heavyweights like PinkPantheress, Charli XCX and more – her rise to the top is looking inevitable.

Influenced by the likes of artists such as Nia Archives and the late Scottish experimental-pop artist, SOPHIE – Piri’s song writing, and vocal delivery has been praised for its neutral, untailored qualities. With poppy melodies, and appealingly wonky, candy-striped choruses, Piri’s live set calls for a highly infectious and homespun performance to anyone in attendance.
