Thandi Phoenix

The my first thing that strikes you about Thandi Phoenix is her voice – Powerful, soulful and honest.

The Sydney based singer-songwriter has been touted as  “One of Australia’s most promising up and comers”, with songs that blend pop with electronica and dance. Her powerhouse vocal and prowess as an artist has seen her collaborate with other well established acts such as Rudimental, Sigma, Dan Caplen & Cassian. With full adds from Triple J and Commercial radio play across the board, Phoenix’s message of empowerment and resilience is carried by her charismatic, distinct vocals and infectious beats.

Some artists are just made for the stage and Thandi Phoenix is one of them. Her performances are captivating, high energy and always leave you wanting more. This reputation has gained her spots at festivals such as Splendour in the grass, Spilt Milk, Snow Tunes, This That, CurveBall and Womadelaide.  Her set at  SITG 2019  was hailed by Triple J as the Saturday Standout performance, labelling it as ‘all class from front to end’.   Thandi has performed for some of the biggest performances in Australian history.

She was handpicked by One Republic to feature with them for the NRL GF 2019 performance in front of a live audience of 80k and a TV audience of 2.64 million. She was also chosen to feature in the closing ceremony of the commonwealth games 2018, as well as a feature spot for the FireFight bushfire relief concert in 2020.
